The front door to my apartment block is all glass – two layers. As it opens the sweep of the reflection captures the whole street at once, the old tenement flats melting into the trees that line the road. I'm interested in the dichotomy between the transient and the permanent, documenting the juxtaposition of plants and trees - cultivated and wild - with built structures as an expression of this. I am also drawn to the light, shadows, and layers of reflections that appear momentarily in my everyday environment.
