I have decided to begin a photographic project on Abruzzo, a little region in the middle-south of Italy, because for too many years I had underestimated its potential. After the 2009 earthquake in L'Aquila, where Abruzzo it has become fertile ground for broadcasters , journalists and jackals , I found in the people of my country the desire to get up, to reborn. So I began to look at the places and people that I had always attended with different eyes. These photographs are part of a long-term project in which the arts and crafts, popular festivals, the men of Abruzzo Region, are the true protagonists and the main subject of this work.
