Stockfish is unsalted fish, dried by cold air and wind on wooden racks on the foreshore. The drying of food is the world's oldest known preservation method, and dried fish has a storage life of several years. The method is cheap and effective. On the photographs you can see how it is done on Lofoten in Norway.
Leszek Gorski has been taking photographs for over 30 years. What concerns him the most in his works is architecture and human presence in urban settings. He prefers to keep his distance to the surrounding environment which he observes with a keen yet sympathetic eye. Leszek wants his photographs to be a source of positive emotions. His works have been shown on five individual exhibitions as well as on numerous group exhibitions in Poland and abroad. Oftentimes, his photographs have received awards and special mentions in photography competitions. Leszek is a member of the Association of Polish Art Photographers [ZPAF].
