The project stems from ongoing experimentation with Polaroid film and the concepts of error, abstraction, and memory, seeking a physical and mental connection between my Polaroid photographic works and my abstract-informal paintings, in a mutual inspiration and osmosis. I selected a series of photographs rejected as incorrect, manipulating them with the aim of generating, through the superposition of multiple layers, a combination of shapes and colors reminiscent abstract-informal painting, in a sort of journey through memory through mental and introspective landscapes.
