These photographs show the interior of the Greek National Opera in Athens, where light, materials, and spatial rhythm are precisely harmonised. Architecture and design merge into geometric compositions in which glass surfaces, slender columns, and carefully considered details transform the foyer into a stage for light, perspective, and movement. These spaces exerted a magnetic pull on me and remain, to this day, the most compelling examples of interior architecture I have ever experienced.
