Photographed in Singapore, model Rosalina Oktavia lost her leg at 24 due to medical negligence. Overcoming immense trauma, she now advocates for body positivity, proving beauty and strength transcend disability. To capture her resilience with visceral depth, I utilized a Salgado-inspired hybrid workflow. The initial digital portrait was displayed on a screen and re-photographed onto Cinestill BwXX 35mm film. This physical transfer yields authentic chemical grain that reflects her raw, unyielding reality.
