Fe(e)d examines how mobile screens shape attention and human presence in public life. Photographed in China and Indonesia, the series observes people absorbed in their devices while sharing space with strangers, partners, children, and the city. The title combines “feed” and “fed”: we consume an endless stream of information even as our attention is fed, directed, and consumed. Reflections, artificial light, and layered surfaces evoke a state in which connection and separation, intimacy and distraction, coexist. These candid images do not claim to reveal the subjects’ private thoughts.
