Homesick –Azadi
Azadi Tower stands as one of the most iconic buildings of Iran—its name meaning freedom, yet its reality shaped by cycles of resistance and repression. In a country where movements for liberty repeatedly rise and are forcefully silenced, the monument becomes a paradox: an emblem of hope overshadowed by violence.
Homesick – Azadi is a reflection on longing—for a homeland, and for the freedom it promises but withholds. The image reimagines Azadi Tower embedded within the dense fabric of Tehran’s alleys and buildings, where ordinary life collides with fear, loss, and absence.
