Kader Tarhanine is one of the leading voices of modern Tuareg music. In this series, photographed in a custom pop‑up studio during the African Beats Festival 2025, I documented the ritual of wrapping the tagelmust — the indigo cloth that symbolizes dignity, identity and continuity among the Tuareg. These moments reveal both the gesture and the calm, grounded presence that define Kader’s artistic and cultural voice.
