Ever since I was a child, there is a tunnel on my way home I always pass through. When I go through it, the time seems to be slower than usual. The changes of color and shimmering light inside the tunnel are like a path to travel through space and time. I very enjoy the life experience and it is one of the important parts for my process of growth. Every time I want to describe the image, the detail and outline seems to be very blurred. Therefore, I try to record the picture during the night to make a deep impression on the memory of growth.

Story

Whenever I enter the tunnel, I especially like to look at the outside halo from the window of the car. The change between the shimmer and color of the interior space seems to be falling on a path through time and space. I always feel it in the process. Time flies very slowly. I love this kind of life experience, and even this has become a very important ring in the process of becoming. Until now, whenever I pass through the tunnel, I still observe the outside world curiously like a child.

In the process of exploring photographic art and contemporary landscapes, I gradually discovered that tunnels are not very similar to apples. When people mention apples, they can immediately reflect the color, outline, structure, and even breath and taste in memory. I think this completely shows that the tunnel is just a path we travel between different cities, but also a kind of fragment in memory and time. But tunnels are actually like the appearance of human beings. Each tunnel has its own unique symbol of life, and more of it represents and connects the cultural nature of the region.
So I tried to use contemporary photography technology as a tool to record and capture the tunnel at night, and I deliberately placed the picture in the middle for viewing, because this is the easiest and most direct way to identify the complete appearance of an individual.

The civilized activities of contemporary humans in the twentieth century have been operating 24 hours a day. Even if we are deliberately standing in the middle of the road, because of the continuous flow of traffic in the tunnel, we cannot observe the tunnel carefully. Appearance and details. What’s interesting is that it’s difficult for this real visual image to penetrate people’s eyes directly and capture it in our memory. However, photography can give full play to the unique immersion that is the most different from other tools, symbolic freezing of time. Freeze frame on the axis of memory.
