Cham people are originally Hindu people with dark blown or black eyes living in currently Vietnam in what then called Champa kingdom. The kingdom later on was occupied by Vietnamese, and then French. An Phuoc, 7 years old, got two blue eyes whereas Sa Pa, her 14-year-old sister, got one blue eye. Their great grandfather is French. Cham girls with blue eyes, even though rare, serve as evidences that there were Cham and French people in the nowadays Vietnam land.
