MOONLIGHT When describing his painting “The Empire of Lights”, Magritte said, “I represented two different ideas, that is, a nocturnal landscape and a sky as we see during the day. I find this contemporary day and night has the power to surprise. I call this force poetry. “ Luce di Luna, inspired by Magritte’s surrealist experiences, plays with the sensibility of common things - one night, no light, dark--and the other - the light that shatteringly illuminates flowers dedicated to the sun. The photographed letter forms, which spell Luce di Luna, are written in moonlight. The camera moves to play with a full moon and then turns to take pictures of sunflowers, moved by a slight wind, the viewer aware of the event.
