Lanscapes of tomorrow As globalization affects every culture, architecture affects every urban landscape. By photographing the buildings from up-close, without any interest whatsoever for their surroundings, the viewer is invited to review each and every one of them as a single entity, bared of purpose and context, and confront one another. These are man-made revolutions in architecture, forever changing the city they are implemented in. Made by architects who bring with their new visions improvement, changes and cohabitation to the already existing architecture. The more the urban landscape evolves, the more the boundaries and differences between cultures become thinner. They represent a new urban landscape, more and more defined as a global international vision of the city. 58 buildings. 27 cities. 11 countries. Each of the photographed buildings where achieved after the beginning of this new century. « Landscapes of tomorrow » is a take on contemporary architecture and its impact on pre-existent urbanism.
