Noor Ahmed Gelal was born in 1977 in Bangladesh and took up photography in 2003. After completion graduate and later basic course from local Institute of Photography. He participated in so many workshops under reputed photographers: Hasan Saifuddin Chandan, Dr. Rashidunnabi Shuvro, Roman Bezjak, etc. His main interests in Pictorial photography, Social issues, Nature Photography, Interior Photography, etc. His works have been published in so many prestigious national/international newspapers, magazines and books as follows: The Daily Star, The Star Insight, The Samakal News Paper, The Prothom Alo, IFC (International Finance Corporation) World bank Group ILO Pilot Survey Report 2010 (USA), aday.org Stockholm, Sweden, IPW 2013 (Indonesia), etc. His photographs exhibited so many exhibitions in Bangladesh, IPW (International Photo Week 2013) Indonesia, City Scapes and Urban Mutation by GOETHE INSTITUT (Germany), A Decade of the National Geographic Contests; a commemoration of Prince Naris Day 2014 (Thailand) and China.
