Du Jin(25) is from Baotou city, China. He was diagnosed as Manic depression(bipolar affective disorder) patient in 2012, used to be a successful wall painter and tattoo manuscript painter, he couldn’t continue his career as the result. It make him suffer from huge mood fluctuation and be overwhelmed between depression and manic frequently. It estimate that there are around 900 millions people suffering from depression in China, countless number of people hide their mental illness and never diagnose in hospital because of the social pressure and discrimination, it cause 70% of the suicide every year around the country.

He tried to commit suicide three times last year by wrist cutting, in order to cure the disease, he has been visiting mental hospital in Baotou and Beijing and keep taking three different anti-depression medications for years, but still hard to go out of the situation.
he has been experienced serious Insomnia and anxiety neurosis, beside all these complications caused by the disease, incomprehension and discrimination by the society hurt him even more, in depression stage, Du Jin could hardly move and talk, he can only stay in his room and sleeps on the bed whole day, in manic stage, he usually stay awake whole night wandering on the street and sometimes turn himself into excessive drinking and prostitution for escape, and always immerses into deep feeling of guilty to his family and himself after.
