The tribal people in the Omo River Valley are some of the most unique people on the African continent. They live very hard lives in harsh environments. and have adapted to their challenges . Life in the Omo is changing for them with foreign investors coming in building large businesses especially, the much debated ,massive Gibe 111 Hydroelectric Dam. Discussion is ongoing revolving around the damage this will cause to the ecosystem, animals and local tribal communities. I believe their beautiful , strong LOVE for family , community and traditions is something to be admired and this has helped them survive for so long!
