This series showcases the precision, order and repetition of modern architecture. I like to create abstract depictions of structures and highlight form by focusing on detail and eliminating the outside environment. It can turn a familiar building into something new and interesting. I find the repetitive nature of these building facades fascinating. The use of colour, line and shape connect in ways that even the original architects and builders might not have intended, creating a pleasingly simple geometric display.
