A portrait of my grandfather, Irwin Sporn, photographed just after his 80th birthday. My family started referring to him as Superman after being diagnosed with and surviving Pancreatic Cancer followed by a heart valve replacement. He is the patriarch of my family and sets a prime example of strength, hope, and perseverance even through the most trying times. Even in his old age he manages to find enjoyment in the simple pleasures in life and is now proudly back on the phones making sales calls.
