In her landscape photography Saskia is inspired by the 17th century paintings of the Dutch landscape. She lived and worked for several years in rural areas and has developed a keen eye for both the beauty and the power of nature. In her photography Saskia is looking for the deeper experience of the landscape. Through the use of color, light and composition her landscapes show a great dramatic power.
