A series of images capturing some of the lighting conditions at Uluru (Ayers Rock), a geological wonder in the heart of the Australian Outback. In one photograph moonlight gently illuminates the great sandstone mass as it dominates the landscape. Overhead countless stars twinkle in the pre-dawn sky. In a grand panoramic image the sun has almost reached the horizon, and the rock is bathed in warm light. Eventually the sun clears the horizon, and with a burst of light another day at this glorious UNESCO World Heritage site begins.
