I try to break the stereotype of classical Still Life by adding disturbing elements like pets. You can see and feel my narration little by little through all of his pictures, the viewers are automatically having their own interpretation with some simple details, sometimes just with the buzz of a fly. The series of the eight still life pictures is completed with an « alive » still life. It's filmed with exactly the same silver dishes, fabrics that we can find on the photographs. That image will be in movement only with very subtle and discreet movement, here, a fly wandering around a fruit, there a rat crossing a table or even a parrot turning its head here and there. Between the photograph and the video, between classical painting and contemporary art, this is the ultimate piece of the series, playing and abusing the relationship with the paintings.
