Most mornings on Kangaroo Island, a mob of wild Kangaroos come in from their bush home and gather at the back gate of Sandy’s house for a free breakfast with her chicken. Some of these guests Sandy knows well, as she has been cared for injured and orphaned joeys for over 20 years. Others are newcomers that randomly join their friends, somehow knowing that a free breakfast is available in a safe and caring environment.
