Andres began by looking at his own scarred body. As the project evolved, he started to question how society sees the male body and how he saw himself. The way we see our own body, it’s fragility and strength, is affected to the fact that we only see it in sections, only partially in reflections or in images. This is an autoportrait project; the closer we try to look, the more sexless, ambiguous and abstract the body seems.
