The Kyaiktiyo Pagoda, also known as the Golden Rock Pagoda, is one of the most sacred and famous sites in Myanmar. Each month thousands of people make a pilgrimage to the site – one part of which involves constricted seating on exhaust-fuming trucks. I took the image early one morning as the pilgrims began this segment of their journey.
