The purpose of my master thesis is to transcend the borders of human perception for a moment and to surmount its one-dimensional state. The handmade aspects of this analog work with all the dirt, grit, imperfections, and uniqueness illustrate the original aura of photography as an antipole of nowadays digital perfection. To make my frames for the short film, I built an orbit-like set of 100 pinhole cameras out of wood in circular form. All cameras are fired at the same time, known as the bullet time effect. Using the random disturbing source of the pinhole camera and the irregular structures of classic film material, I processed the film with an own caffenol formulation in order to even reinforce the effects.
