Swagging’ it under the Northern Territory stars we were awoken at midnight by the flaring of horse’s nostrils. At first it was hazy like a dream but journalist Paul Toohey and I soon realised it was the elusive Brumbies of Bonrook Station that we had tirelessly looked for all day. Within a matter of a few frames it was all over however I had captured a fitting image of the ghostly and fleeting brumbies passing at night and had eluded us throughout the day.
