As I journeyed down Hollywood Boulevard east of Vine Street I met Johnny. Johnny is an expressive man that uses is hands to emphasize a point. He is homeless and seated in a wheelchair who will talk to anyone that is willing to listen. He began our conversation by telling me these little known stories about the area. The facts that dominated our conversation centered about the movie “The Greatest Story Ever Told.” The conversation also meandered to facts about people paying tribute to the wrong Michael Jackson star to the shape of the stars forming a cross on Hollywood and Vine. While most people just walk by or pause to get their pictures taken at the Mark Wahlberg star, Johnny keeps telling his stories about Hollywood with a smile on his face - that is unless you happen to glance back when he thinks you are not looking…
