Going on the road trip to the Red Center of Australia in January -middle of summer - seemed like the craziest idea given that the average temperature should have been 40 to 50 degrees Celsius with non-stop frying sunshine. I was dreaming of those bright red and blue colors you see on all photos. But during our whole week there we were cold at 20 degrees and it just did not stop raining.
