The photograph "Polar Bear in 2050?" belongs to the photographic series "Filitosa". I made these images at Filitosa in Corsica, Italy. Filitosa is an archeological site, discovered in 1946. It consists of several prehistoric statues, menhirs and structures.The site was populated around 7000 years ago, the statues were created about 3000 years ago.
Born in Slovenia, studied photography in Belgium at RhoK Academy and Ecole des Arts d’Ixelles, holds also a degree in marketing from the University of Maribor – Faculty of Economy, Slovenia. Passion for photography led her to specialize in fine art and architectural photography. She has been creating an archive of contemporary architecture and design with her personal vision. Her work has been exhibited in several solo and group exhibition. Some images are part of the permanent collection of Museum of Fine Arts Houston, Rodin Museum, Bibliothèque Nationale de France. She was honored with first prize of Vitra Belgium, photo competition 2009 “How to see” George Nelson. Her work has been published in books and magazines like The Architectural Review, AD+223, Arquitecura Y Diseno, Elle Wonen, Gael Maison, Modern Luxury Dallas, Log NY, etc..
