I was captivated by Nana's dancing; her mind and body were perfectly in sync with her surroundings. I took all of it in, the world spinning around me, and fell into a trance. I felt strongly that this was a scream of the heart--her scream. Nana herself is pansexual, and I found that her feelings reflected those of LGBTI individuals. In Japan, discrimination is fading away, and life is gradually becoming easier for LGBTI individuals. Every day, deep within my heart, I hope to rid the world of ignorance and intolerance towards LGBTI individuals.
