Entry Description

One of the most visible signs of climate change is the rapid, worldwide melting of glaciers. These picture shows how one of the Swiss Alps oldest glaciers is being partially protected from melting, by covering it with big planes of fleece. When we look beyond the mysterious glacier, we discover a strange landscape with new, surprising facets. In the unusual silence reveals softly forms of ice, which seem to us like an unreal, majestic landscape.
