Entry Description

During my visit in Iceland in November 2016, I visited a lot of locations from the West side to the East side. There, I visited one of Iceland's most photographed mountains: Vestrahorn. During the sunset the mountain started to shine with hot colors, thanks to the last sunrays.

About Photographer

Marco Calandra was born on 11th December 1989 in Gothenburg (Sweden). He started to photograph in 2010 and the passion for photography increases over the years by reading magazines, books and photoblogs. He abandoned his studies in Engineering and enrolled to the Academy of Fine Arts to study photography. In the 2014 he wrote the thesis on "The Unreality of the photography" and in the 2017 he wrote the final thesis "The silent landscapes" achieving the highest grade.
