It was early autumn at the New York Botanical Gardens when suddenly a gentle wind seemingly orchestrated these exquisite natural forms. Mirrored against the grand stage of the Haupt Conservatory begins a graceful ensemble of water lilies dancing. The petiole arching their backs as the giant golden Victoria water lilies glide across the water in perfect silent rhythm. I was completely mesmerized by this ethereal aquatic ballet.
