Capturing dreams within a Cenote in Mexico.
From an early age, Clinton Perry found beauty in distilling, fleeting moments. Born and raised in North Carolina, Clinton Perry started experimenting with photography to document friends skateboarding around the barrier island of Emerald Isle. This experimentation grew into a great passion, leading Clinton to study the Science and Technology of Photography at CCC. After graduation, he worked with Henry Stindt Studios and taught photography at Lenoir Community College in Kinston, NC. He moved to San Francisco to join the ranks of the best skateboard photographers at Thrasher Magazine. With his work, Clinton strikes a balance between his intimate, personal photography and his collaborations with amazing creatives within advertising, commercial and lifestyle projects. In 2013, PDN Magazine selected Perry for their "Objects of Desire" winners. The American Photographic Artists chose his work twice for the "Off The Clock" exhibitions, to be featured in a four-month, traveling show displayed within the best ad agencies in Los Angeles. While photographing in Roatan, Honduras in 2014, this work caught the attention of the APA yet again, winning Perry second place in the Lifestyle category. He is a proud father, drummer and still-dedicated skateboarder, living in San Francisco.
