Dancing is a unique celebratory expression of the Hamar tribe in the Lower Omo Valley of Ethiopia. We were drawn to this wedding celebration from a distance by the loud cheers and mini dust storm caused from all the dancing. To celebrate weddings, men and women dance opposite each other in a circle in an attempt to "out-jump" each other.
