The advertising assignment was to photograph fine jewelry for a California jewelry store, CLASSIC ROCK. The objective was to communicate a high-end luxury brand image. Specifically, the client requested that the photos were to be simple and elegant—and conceptually communicate that precious gems and jewelry come from the natural world. I achieved this by placing natural objects into the background that would complement and highlight the jewelry through their relationships in color and shape. It was a challenging creative assignment and the client was very pleased with the results.
