In the early spring, I invited my sister Mackenzie (pictured) to join me and my husband on a camping trip to Shenandoah National Park. We woke up before dawn and climbed up and over boulders to the summit of Bearfence Mountain. The wind was harsh and cold, but the beauty of its wild movement complemented not only our eccentric artisan hearts, but life's perfect symmetry.
