The Palouse is a tapestry. At harvest, combines throw chaff into the air where its dust, fine as flour, creates a sparkling haze over the land. This semi transparent air links field and sky, pulling them together in an endless integrated weave of blue and gold and white. Within this tapestry there is a sense of connection, continuation, renewal.
