These three young Hanovarian stallions live on huge pastures directly next to the North Sea in Germany. They grow up in a huge herd of horses, nearly untouched by humans. Spending time in their midst was very precious. I figured that the herd had split into groups of true friends who do everything together: eat, drink and if there is the need to run fast, stay as close together as possible. The three horses I captured in this image were truly best friends, even running simultaneously!
