"What Joel Told Me" is a fine art photography series. It was inspired by Joel-Peter Witkin. Being a fan of dark and mysterious themes, I always wanted to create something bizarre yet still beautiful. Joel-Peter Witkin's works open a new gate for me. His whimsical but extremely attractive works seem to travel through time and space and talk to me. In this series, I use 35mm film camera to capture the images and process them in the darkroom. I used lots of crazy methods to make the images look damaged and aged. The whole creation process is an unforgettable experience.
