In early 2022, there were hundreds of COVID-19 test stations in Berlin. Like the metropolis itself, the facilities have been unconventionally innovative: between modified Christmas market stalls, garden sheds, next to kebab stands, bakeries or corner pubs, in tents and single-family homes, Berlin’s creative spirit is on display. The series documents the drastic changes through the global pandemic for an urban environment. The photo series addresses a common, serious matter and offers a new perspective by showing the more lighthearted side of the subject.
