-The "Mood Swing" is a collection with a metaphoric recreation of what goes inside the mind of a person in a mental disorder phase. The collection is a Duo between the artist Anahita S. Babaei- who brings her own experiences into performance- and the brilliant photographer/ makeup artist, Olivia Nordlander who recaptures everything through her makeup and the art of photography. She is categorised as borderline. But boarder line is pestiferous. It is an epidemic of sustained simplicity called self-willed split. She is just a mirror of the kings and queens of the earth, a swinging pendulum of identities. One minute suffocating in self projections like captive beasts in a Menagerie of her own demons, the next, floating in a celestial sense of omnipotence.
We are all born as “yet to become creatures” with a dark void in our existence to be filled with the unique fire. But you found a way to ease that pale emptiness for us didn't you? You gave us a masquerade and a brush until we forgot who was the muse and who was amused. Who is the CREATOR and who is the CREATURE? And we all chose the black and white over the complex spectrum of all living colours. After all when the curtains drop, she knows she is the euphoric monster of her own victimhood. So do you.
