"The cold becomes tangible, palpable, drenching the air and stopping time, like a veil that covers everything, like particles of mist against the light." Developed over five years (2016 - 2021) on the banks of the Duero River as it passes through the city of Zamora, Cencellada is a totally intimate series focused on introspection. The key elements common to all the photographs in this series are the same, creating a silent symphony of fog, frost and silence. Through minimalist images, a peaceful gaze of a sleeping, frozen and silent landscape is sought; an authentic crystal landscape.
