The images come from an ice cave of the vanishing Furgg glacier below the Matterhorn mountain in Switzerland. I am documenting the abstract beauty of glaciers and how they are affected from global warming. By end of the century almost all the glaciers in the alps will be gone. When I was exploring the ice cave the structures in the ice reminded me of a northern lights corona which also looks like an explosion. But also with other deeper perspectives into the melting glacier ice I thought this would fit perfect into this category.
