Millions tourists pass through AngkorWat temple each year, stopping briefly to take a selfie before continuing their frenetic way to the next attraction of Cambodia. Far away from this madness, and even though they are also tourists, the monks seems to emerge from the very bowels of the construction silently occupy every space until they establish a connection without which, it seems, they can advance no further. In this way, slowly, they blend into the carvings on the walls until they become part of the landscape and [seem to] disappear into the largest religious structure ever built.
