A series depicting the slaughter of home-grown pigs; something I wanted to see up close because I felt it necessary as a meat-eater. It felt horrific upfront but really was full of respect and love for the animals and the meat. Shot using a leica monochrom because I knew I wanted the series to be black and white, and using a 35mm which forced me to get close to everything that happened.
