Glacial Reverie is a mesmerizing exploration of the ephemeral nature of ice, transformed into an abstract visual symphony. Through the lens, I delve into the transient beauty of frozen landscapes, seeking to unveil the hidden stories trapped within the icy contours. Each snapshot encapsulates the delicate dance between light and crystal, unveiling a world where time seems suspended. In this series, the mix of intricate textures formed over millions of years reveals the essence of frozen formations. They translate their transient existence into a visual narrative that transcends the ordinary.

Biography

Deeply inspired by nature in general, the ocean in particular, contemporary architecture, and cross-cultural relations, I focus with my fine art photography on the extraordinary landscape phenomena while traveling. I attempt to give a new (sur)realism by accentuating the aesthetic of our precious blue planet with intuitive photography. My work is based on 3 themes: Altitude – Earth – Ocean. In this way I want to express my emotions and convey a powerful message. My photographic artworks are subjected to a rigorous selection for a sophisticated and exclusive collection of fine art prints.
Awards

In 2023, 2024 en 2025, I won many awards in large international competitions such as FEP (Federation of European Professional Photographers), PX3 Prix de la Photography Paris, Black & Spider Awards and Muse Photography Awards. Yet the most striking ones are the ‘State of the World 2023’ Curatorial selection – Paris photo prize from Px3 with “Glacier Azur” and Gold winner 2024 en 2025 from Muse Photography Awards with “Ethereal Bodies” and "White Powder". At XV Florence Biennale 2025 I won the “Lorenzo iL Magnifico Award” First Prize Photography.
