In this monochromatic composition, I meticulously stacked 3 glasses, one on top of the other, creating a structure reminiscent of the constellation, Cassiopeia. My aim for this still life composition was to create an illusion that intentionally creates ambiguity that encourages the viewer to look more closely. As focused clarity on the central glass contrasts with the deliberate blur of the bottom glass, it creates the illusion that it is a reflection rather than a third glass.
