The southernmost mammal in the world, the Weddell seal is the only species that inhabits the fast-ice zone fringing the Antarctic continent. This image of the Weddell seal, resting on an iceberg, was captured from a zodiac boat in the Antarctic Peninsula.

Biography

Based in the United States in Washington State, Stephen is an “opportunistic” photographer, capturing life as it unfolds in his travels. His spontaneous approach results in candid snapshots of the outdoors, people, and diverse cultures, enriching his global perspective.
