I find that the piercing love-filled look of a dog can melt your heart. The dog's eyes reveal their pure innocent soul. I often find that I prefer the company of animals, especially dogs, to that of other people. They are just so pure and real in their essence. This is a portrait of my dog Marley, shot in my home studio with one speedlight (butterfly lighting setup) and a reflector.
